1. What is Wedding-Assistants.com
It's a website that helps couples find a Wedding Assistant in
their local area.
2. Who are the Wedding Assistants?
Assistants are individuals with various academic and work
experiences who enjoy helping others. As members of
this site, they have full access to our extensive knowledge bank
including etiquette training and venue orientation.
3. How do I select a Wedding Assistant?
Click on your city above. The results
page will show who is available in your area. Call them to
see if they are still available on your date. If you are
interested, request a free 30 minute 'Meet and
Greet" session at a coffee shop so you can have a chance to
see if they are the right choice for you.
4. How much does it cost to hire a
wedding assistant for my wedding day?
Assistants work independently and charge a fixed rate for the
time spent meeting and corresponding with you prior to your
wedding, and on your day. Rates vary from $500 -
$1,000. More
experienced Assistants who are often fully booked, typically
charge more. Sometimes Assistants require a gas
allowance if there is a lot of driving between venues, and
reimbursement of parking fees. The first introductory
meeting should be free, with additional meetings, phone
conversations etc. included in the fixed rate.
5. How do I pay my Assistant?
Work this out with your Assistant directly. Most
assistants prefer to be paid by cash or check on the morning of your
wedding.
6. What jobs will a Wedding Assistant do?
Meet the Assistant you have selected before your wedding day, to go over the jobs you would
like them to do. The Assistant will tell you if
there is a job they cannot do, or if they feel they do not have
time to do some of the jobs on your list. Decide on a plan
that you are all comfortable with. Think of your Wedding
Assistant as your personal assistant for a day.
